The story behind Sensitive & Queer

Hey 👋

I thought I'd share a little more about how Sensitive and Queer came about.

I’m Aimee (she/her), a highly sensitive queer person, and for a long time, I struggled to find a space where I truly felt understood.

Before I realised I was highly sensitive, I spent years feeling out of place, overthinking everything, and constantly overwhelmed. Life felt unintentional, like I was always swimming against the current. It was frustrating, isolating, and exhausting.

But when I finally tuned in to my sensitivity and gave myself permission to listen to what I really needed, everything started to shift. I connected with myself in a deeper way and began to intentionally design a life that actually fit me.

As I looked around, I realised I wasn’t the only one. But finding a supportive, empowering space just for people like me, both highly sensitive and queer, wasn’t easy. So I decided to create one! That’s how Sensitive & Queer was born, as a safer space where sensitive queer folks can explore, learn about themselves, and create their own authentic, fulfilling path.

If you’ve ever felt out of place or like your sensitivity makes life harder, I want you to know there’s another way.

You can take up space.

You can shape your reality.

And you deserve to create a life that feels right for you.

I’d love for you to be part of this community.

Thanks for being here 💛
